Our Qualifications

Stan Knepp, owner of Knepp Financial Group, LLC, is a Certified Financial Planner, a Certified Fund Specialist, and a Registered Principal with FSC Securities Corporation. Stan has a B.S. degree in Secondary Education from Bob Jones University and an M.S. and Ph.D. from the University of Michigan. He has worked in the financial service industry since 1984, part of that time with a major Wall Street brokerage firm. Since March of 1987 he has worked as an independent financial advisor associated with FSC Securities Corporation as a registered representative. Stan teaches in the undergraduate degree program at Siena Heights University and in the Community Education Program for Schoolcraft College. Stan lives with his wife, Dennae, in Whitmore Lake and serves as the treasurer for his church. He is a member of both the Michigan and National Financial Planning Association.

Jason Davis is a Financial Planner and has been with Knepp Financial Group, LLC since July of 2000. He holds a BBA in Finance from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, TX. Jason carries the designation of Certified Fund Specialist and is a Registered Representative with FSC Securities Corporation. He is licensed for life/health insurance in Michigan and is a member of the National Association of Tax Professionals. He resides in South Lyon with his wife, Dana and daughter, Kylie.

Dennae Knepp has worked at Knepp Financial Group LLC, since 1987. Her duties as office manager also include client account services, marketing, and seminar or events coordination. Her degrees are in English Education (B.S) and Personnel Services (M.S.) She also serves as a children's choir director and is active in the music ministry at her church.

Michele Salvato is our Information Technology and Management Specialist and has been with Knepp Financial Group, LLC since 1992. She holds a B.S. in accounting from Madonna University. She is a Certified Fund Specialist (CFS)and is a Registered Representative with FSC Securities Corporation. She is currently studying for the CFP designation. Her main responsibilities include investment advice, client reports, and overseeing other client services and requests. She lives with her husband, Vince, and Golden Retriever, Casey, in Lyon Twp."

Rose Shahinian has been an independent tax consultant since 1988. Previous to that she was affiliated with a national tax service as a District Manager and Vice President for 10 years. She is a member of the National Association of Tax Professionals and is also a Certified Individual Tax Preparer, as certified by the American Institute of Tax Studies. Rose lives in Commerce Township. She has three adult children, and two grandchildren.
